Quintessentially Q by Pepper Winters

I'm very happy to be apart of the As the Pages Turn Blog Tour for Pepper Winter's Quintessentially Q. I must admit I have never read anything this dark before. All the other books I've read have had some darkness but this was really beyond anything I could have imagined. Very few books make me have to stop and take a deep cleansing breath but this book sure did. If you are looking for something dark this book is for you. I won't lie this book is very intense but it's what makes it such a good read. It is a the 2nd book in the series, highly recommend you read the first one as it sets the background of what is going on. 

As Tess returns to Q - he of course struggles with the feelings he has for her. Not sure if he can stop from killing her with his wicked cravings. Tess struggles to make Q see that she can handle what he wants from her and trust him not to ever go to far. Of course tragedy strikes as old enemies find her and Tess is thrown back to her worst nightmare. Will she survive and will Q reach her before they break her completely? 

The story line is very well written and I did not feel the author tried to rush through the story. I won't post any spoilers but just know that it was satisfying to read the ending. Q - is a true possessive and protective man.
