Apollycon 2017 Orlando FL

Hiya book lovers!!!!! I was lucky enough to attend Apollycon in Orlando FL this year.  This is my 3rd book event, in the past 5 years, I wanted to share with you some of the lovely authors I got to meet. It really was a great event, and well organized. I dragged my poor husband with me, although he was a trooper - I told him I would be ok if he just dropped me off. But being the "Alpha" male he is - he couldn't leave in an unknown place alone. I was grateful he stayed with me - he was my personal photographer. 

I made the effort to go to this event because there were several of my favorite authors going. The trip was well worth it - considering all the authors I was able to meet and take PICS with. Being with other book lovers, that know understand your passion for reading and don't look down their noses at you. 

One of my ALL TIME FAVORITES - Liliana Hart -- was there. I was so excited - to see her again. Yes again, the first time I met her was back in March 2014. It has been three years since then, can I tell you that when I walked up to her table, she remembered me!!!!!!! I literally almost screamed! I was so shocked, of course it had to do with my name that she remembered me - but I will take it!. She was also wearing some AWESOME FLATS! Sadly I didn't take a picture of the wonderful shoes.  In any event, - if you don't know who she is...click on her link. She has some great books out there, and the series are just to die for!

A Christmas Wish - Dane by Liliana Hart

Hi there everyone!

I just finished reading A Christmas Wish - Dane, and all I can say is I'm in love with the MacKenzie's all over again. I'm so happy that Liliana decided to give us more MacKenzie stories. I know I've mentioned the MacKenzie's before..so you should know I LOVE THIS SERIES. 

The story picks up right after Dane and Charlotte reunite. Dane is struggling to convince Charlotte to marry him while trying to bond with his son and finally make them a family. It's a fast read, but the story itself is wonderful, you realize how united the MacKenzie clan really is. 

You do need to read Dane first, so if you haven't go ahead and pick it up it's free on Amazon.

The MacKenzie's Series by Liliana Hart

It was a busy week which is why I didn't post much on here last week. 

Have you read The MacKenzie's Series by Liliana Hart? If you haven't you should pick it up. She has two sets of The MacKenzie's the first set is The MacKenzies the stories are short so don't go in expecting a long novel. But if you like short stories these are great. Next in the series are The MacKenzie Security Series these are the stories of the other side of The MacKenzie family (cousins). I love how she tied in the families together and even keeps them coming up in each other's story lines. I must admit my favorite from the two sets is the Security Series, the stories were longer and more developed as well as very exciting as each story of the brothers builds up from the last story. Whereas in the first series, you are basically just getting a story on how each of the brothers falls in love. The exception is the last book in the first series because that one introduces you to the Security Series and the stories go from there. 

There is also a spin off series, I haven't started to read it yet, but you will see once you read the last book in the Security Series.
